The press release for the Royal Opera’s 2018-2019 season promises “world-renowned opera stars including Michael Fabiano, Jonas Kaufmann, Anna Netrebko and Eva-Maria Westbroek among other treats.” 

Said treats include Kaufmann and Netrebko in a new production of Forza and Westbroek and Aleksandrs Antonenko in the Stefan Herheim production of Queen of Spades. Our Michael will sing the title role in a revival of Faust. (And did I mention Kat’a Kabanova featuring that echt-Moravian pair Amanda Majeski and Susan Bickley?)
