Coffee talkLa Cieca is proud to share with her cher public (pictured) the transition of parterre.com to a new commenting system powered by Disqus.com, which will be in place and running within the next day or so. Read on after the jump!

In order to comment on parterre.com, you’ll need to login with a Disqus.com account. This login process is very simple.

If you do not already have an account with Disqus, please take a moment to sign up here. You can sign up using your Twitter, Facebook, or Google account or a valid email address.

When you are prompted to choose a “Name,” La Cieca suggests you select some version of the alias you are currently using under the old commenting system.

For instance, if you are currently commenting here under the name “Albanese Fan,” you might select “Albanese Fan” or “AlbaneseFan” or “Albanese Fan 2016” or some such as your new user name.

Once you’ve created your Disqus account, you can at your leisure go here where you can upload an image to use as your Avatar.

The entire signup process will take only a couple of minutes.

If you already have a Disqus account and wish to comment using that account, that is also fine.

La Cieca is assured that all comments made before the transition (for example, comments made today) will be preserved and displayed using the Disqus format.

If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected].
