Much to my surprise I think Willis-Sorsen is the best of three Norma’s in the “Norma Wars” of 2025. She sounds much surer of herself than the other two did.
Berg, Janacek, Prokofiev, Britten, Shostakovich, Glass, Adams... and Händel and Rameau.
Wonderful choice, Krunoslav. And it is nice to be reminded that there is more to Donizetti than sopranos (brilliantly as he wrote for them).
