I have tried countless times to like Passion or even get through it and have never been able to. I saw the original in previews and sad to say the performance I attended was heckled by the audience.

I think Graham Clark was 76 the last time I saw him on stage, too.
Worth mentioning Gregory Kunde, who's 71, is about to sing Andrea Chénier with Radvanovsky in Berlin and still has protagonist roles scheduled for next season (like Radames in Paris).

I believe Chausson is now retired, at least from staged opera. Last year he cancelled a Cenerentola in Barcelona that was widely seen as his farewell.

I attended that Don Pasquale in Pittsburgh. It was my favourite Oropesa performance.
