As for the company itself, it clearly shows no signs of brain activity and therefore it should be taken off life support.

NYCO last presented a performance of any kind in September.

The performance dates for the scheduled double bill of O Arame and El Amor Brujo have long since come and gone without even an announcement of a cancellation or postponement.

The last communication from the press office was in August.

Meanwhile, for the promised performances in the spring and summer of 2020, no tickets are on sale and in fact they are not even mentioned on the company’s website.

La Cieca has asked around a bit and no one has heard of contracts for artists going out for the proposed season.

It’s time for whoever may remain in management at NYCO to come clean and to close the doors, officially and for good.
