wrayUPDATE: Thanks to the generosity of a member of the cher public who wishes to remain anonymous, a ticket has been obtained for the parterre reviewer!

Your doyenne (pictured) finds herself faced with a bit of a dilemma here, and she hopes you generous and/or thoughtful members of the cher public can help.

Here’s the scoop: La Cieca is hoping to send a new parterre writer on special assignment to the second performance of La traviata at the Met this season (January 4), but at the moment the show is heavily sold and the remaining tickets are rather pricey.

Are there any kind souls out there in Parterriana who have an extra ticket to this performance they would be willing to a) donate or b) sell to La Cieca to pass along to the writer? Private replies, please, to [email protected].
