“who is Albert Innaurato”?…..God help civilization.

  • Armerjaquino, of course you did, exactly my point. I should have known about Niles (Niels?), though.

Over and out on the friendlier exchange of information going on here. Back to the snarls. Again, we on this side of the pond could hardly care less.

To return to the original topic, I’m surprised that Famous Quickly hasn’t weighed in on this one yet, reminding us all that “she could ‘play gay’ tomorrow.”

  • High C's @ 4:20 says:

id LOVE to play gay tomorrow… ‘its just a matter of form and balance, and God knows my form is well balanced.’

snatched that from Altmans “Come Back to the 5 and Dime, Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean.” Best movie ever.

And my point, Scaramuccio dear heart, was that you aren’t the only Brit in the village.

Unless somebody’s moved Cricklewood to the US when I wasn’t looking.

One day some friends and I had a lot of fun googling our own names with one or more recognitions being necessary to lift one from the “non entity” category. Having a “dedicated Wiki” counted 10. It was a lot of fun and I was amused to find that my brother is twice as relevant as myself.
Just as there’s no shame in being a non entity, one can’t take away or deny the respect due to someone who has achieved something (or a lot) – as in the case of Mrs JC. In the case of a blog being a level playing field, perhaps before one slams an artist or another blogger one should submit oneself to a reality check first, then temper the comment accordingly.

One and only thought on Mrs. C’s real life persona- I’d just like to say that Gemini has long been a favorite play of mine, so…yeah.

  • Lucky Pierre says:

i have not had the honor of having an wikipedia entry (thank goodness) but i am in urban dictionary, apparently.

  • Fiakermilli says:

I have a dedicated Wiki in real life, too. It’s just a matter of color and tessitura.

Baritenor I have not had the privilege of seeing it but as a one time playwright I can say that a run of 4 years on Broadway is an extraordinary achievement – akin to an Olympic platinum.

If he, Mrs JC, never did another thing in his life, he wouldn’t owe anyone an apology as has already achieved what thousands aspire to and never reach.
That aside- I’m just delighted that he bothers to contribute here because since he has, Parterre Box has become three times as interesting…with no disrespect to la Cieca because it was already wonderful.
The small number (I think) that don’t agree are entitled to their views, after all, you can’t make an omelette without cracking a few eggs anyhow; but my suggestion to them is to simply do better yourself if you can. It is noticeable that those who flame people are often those that contribute least.
I’ve talked too much lately so will go quiet now for a while and leave some room for others to contribute. Thanks for allowing me to put in my twopence worth.
