..simultaneously performing a circumcision and a coloratura aria -- trim n’trill?

I know this is an old post, so likely no one will ever see it, but I wanted to add my feelings about this opera. I attended last night, and I have to say the music is quite beautiful and well-crafted. The performers, from the very small group of musicians to the fabulous cast, were truly dedicated to the piece and all proved the skill to pull it off. I found the staging totally inappropriate, though, and the venue couldn’t have helped -- tiny! I think this would actually work well performed as a concert piece, especially given how short it is. Hopefully we’ll get to see it presented again at some point, if only to see what a different cast and staging would bring.
