Canteen confidential

blind_thumbWhich married divo and “adored” diva were seen playing grab-ass as they left the canteen, presumably to return to rehearsal, only to lose their way for at least 20 minutes, evoking a frantic call over the house wire imploring their return to level C?

    Jill Grove and Christine Schaefer?

Kaufmann is in Milano now and not in New York.

You don’t mean to say someone was actually giving facial expression and mouth opening lessons, on eating cream or biting buns to some other singer, during rehearsals surely???!!! Really!

Maybe their acting coach is a disciple of Stanislavski.

  • What does “adored” mean? Certainly the quotes are there for a reason.

“Adored” I think is a hint for Nebby.

Or “Myself I Shall Adore” = de Niese

both danielle and renee would have no reason to be rehearsing on C-Level….let’s think logically here people…QPF seems to have got it, though it’s a bit ill-timed given angela’s recent statement (see following post)

Renee Fleming was on the West Coast in a recital tour. I went to her recital last night. It was splendid.

Hey, I was there too. My first time seeing her live and I was not disappointed. It was really a horrible day though, worst weather in California all year, so I literally went out of my way to see her, but it was worth it. :)

As someone who is not entirely familiar with the inner workings of the Met, can anyone enlighten me as to what “C-level” is? I presume there is an “A-level” and “B-level”? Are these just terms or are these physical spaces in the House? And what goes on on each and when?
