That shot of his legs was HOT. He can wrap those nice things around me anytime.
I guess when you don’t have a great voice you have to work what you do have, right?
He just needs to work on those abs! At his age, they are the first thing to go ….
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about Nathan Gunn’s voice after being vaguely unimpressed by his recent performances in LA. I couldn’t tell if the acoustics in the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion were just unflattering to his voice or if it was just lacking substance.
Last night, I was watching the 1992 Met Telecast of Billy Budd, which features Gunn in the small role of the Novice’s Friend. When he came on, I hadn’t really been paying attention, but when he opened my mouth, my head kind of snapped up from my laptop. It was immediately apparent that, at that stage of his career, he had a first rate sound. Maybe it’s kind of faded, and yeah it’s not a hard role, but man did he sound good.
La Cieca: It is amazing how you can come up with the perfect title for every item. “And shirtless he will die”. LOL
Never really liked this guy’s voice or singing. But great bod though…
Who was the male lead in the premeire of Previn’s Streetcar Named Desire opposite Flemming?
Gilfry. Why do you ask?

I was confusing Gilfry and Gunn, both buff- baritones
