deepest apologies for going off topic in the first post, but i just received a call from opera philly urging me to subscribe to the 2009-10 pearlman (chamber) season — apparently the weekend matinee series already has sold out, and the remining weeknights are almost gone as well. admittedly, it’s only two operas in the subscription (with a separate three opera sub for the main house) — but the series includes antony and cleopatra! i was surprised (and a little disappointed) to learn tickets were going so fast.
anyone connected with the company know whether there’s likely to be single tickets left by the scheduled on-sale date?
