The seat was in the first row on the left of Mr. Bernstein I was able to watch him conduct and was mesmerized by him and being so close to Eileen Farrell. I was just in awe of her voice. It was a thrilling experience to be able to be so close to watch Bernstein and hear Eileen Farrell’s generous full voice. I could have sworn she sang both Isolde’s Liebestod and Brünnhilde’s Immolation scene but I saw that she sang only Brunnhilde’s scene. I do not remember what else she sang.
