A favorite Wagner performance from Peter

Eleanor Steber and Wolfgang Windgassen in the Act III bridal chamber scene of Lohengrin.

This was the first complete Wagner opera set I ever owned and was blown away by how gorgeous this singing was. Steber is singing in a truly bel canto style and I love Windgassen’s voice, especially in the more lyric Wagner tenor roles.
