San Francisco Opera 2025-26

The San Francisco Opera announces its 2025-26 season.

Highlights of the six-opera season include productions of Parsifal featuring Brandon Jovanovich, Kwangchul Youn, Brian Mulligan, and Tanja Ariane Baumgartner and Elena Pankratova, Michaela Schuster, and Elza van den Heever in Elektra, with both operas conducted by Music Director Eun Sun Kim.

The season also includes a 25th anniversary production of Dead Man Walking starring Ryan McKinny, Jamie Barton, and Susan Graham as well as the previously announced premiere of The Monkey King by Huang Ruo and David Henry Hwang in a production by Diane Paulus.

Productions of Rigoletto and The Barber of Seville (the latter featuring a luxe double cast), as well as a concert of Beethoven‘s Symphony No. 5 paired with Manuel de Falla‘s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, round out the season.
