Elisabeth Grümmer’s Elsa was the novelty in last night’s repeat of Wagner’s “Lohengrin,” at the Metropolitan Opera, brought back from last season for the special Lincoln Center Festival. The tall blond soprano has had a distinguished career for some years in Europe. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut in a role that suits her well.
