Filmmaker Adam Baran (Producer, Circus of Books) is collecting true stories about homosexual cruising at the Metropolitan Opera House (both at the old and new Met) for a short documentary film about the history of cruising at the opera in New York. If you have stories you’d be willing to share, please email him a note at [email protected].

Adam promises that all stories will be kept confidential and if used in the final film, they do not need to have your real name attached. There is no pay but subjects will receive copies of the film and help to preserve the important, and often overlooked histories of gay men’s sexual lives and the underground ways they found each other in the pre-and-post-Stonewall eras.
