I don't know the score well but that molto rallentando is bonkers
Did someone say It's Not RIght But It's Okay???? https://youtu.be/ENkEzW833C4?si=vW49SYL-nIENt5j8
"It's not right but it's okay" is how i almost always feel about a mezzo Adalgisa
Some jarring tempo shifts there
thrilling singing from Lewek overall
I am the Third Lady and I shriek and collapse in a dead faint as I sink into the earth
I liked it :)
I basically said the same recently. Didn't go over well.
Everyone and their grandmothers now sing Norma.
She has to modulate her recitativo to express her feelings. She has a gorgeous voice, but is just singing in an all purpose American way.
She was in the ensemble system in Dresden, right?
Did you listen to the RWS imterview on the RR3 page where the prompt for this broadcast is found? She speaks very good German

I'm enjoying his performance so far; if the lower range is a little muddy, the top is very exciting.
Tenor a bit wooly-toned
Eleanora Burrato has an album out of Donizetti, Verdi, and Bellini. Just starting it now. Including, I might add, the entire finale to Anna Bolena. And, no, sha can't trill.
