Today’s episode of parterre saturday afternoon affords a glimpse of legendary diva Joan Sutherland in her “breakthrough” year of 1961: a live performance of I puritani from Palermo in 1961. The program, featuring Our Own JJ (not pictured), goes live at 2:00 PM.
