The chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee took to the cable waves this morning to reassure the American people that Andrea Bocelli did not, repeat not, turn down the President-elect’s offer to sing at the January 20 event. The President-elect then extended a gracious invitation for the Italian performer “to sing any time you like, Andrea, even if it’s only for me and the First Lady… my wife, Morgan Fairchild.. yeah, that’s the ticket!” [Musical America]
