Though La Cieca’s occasional brushes with democracy have not left her with much faith in that form of decision-making, she is going to make the leap anyway and turn some small measure of control over to you, the cher public.

During the period the Met is out of season, we’ll need each Saturday afternoon a broadcast or webcast suitable for discussion at La Casa della Cieca. What your doyenne proposes is this: each Monday I will post a reminder (e.g., this one) asking for your nominations for something interesting to listen to the following Saturday afternoon. Once you people have hashed it out in the comments, I’ll post the (suggested) Saturday afternoon listening in the “Chats” schedule over in the right navigation bar by Friday morning.
So, cher public: our fate is in your hands. And may God have mercy on our souls.
