La Cieca (center) would like to inform the cher public (also pictured) that this weekend parterre.com is moving to a new server in order to provide a faster and smoother user experience (and who of us isn’t in favor of that?) Do be aware, though, that during the transition process, some comments posted today and Sunday may fail to archive. What do do? La Cieca explains after the jump.

If you do have some important information to impart over the weekend (especially if it’s a long block of text) La Cieca suggests you keep a copy of the comment as a text file locally, on your hard drive, on the chance that it fails to archive. By Monday, the “propagation” process (making sure everyone’s computer is accessing the version of parterre.com on the new server) should be complete, and it will be business as usual, not unlike our own dear federal government.

In the meantime, La Casa della Cieca should not be affected at all, so your doyenne looks forward to seeing you there this afternoon at 1:00 pm during Le Comte Ory.
