young-at-heartLa Cieca (third from right) has always prided herself on offering opportunities to the young, even if they aren’t always quick to pick up on her hints, and today is no exception. Your doyenne has several unusual (one might even say offbeat) opera events on the calendar, and she’d be interested in sending novice parterre writers to cover them.
If you’re interested in writing for parterre.com, living or staying in the New York area, haven’t written on a parterre byline before (or only rarely) and you consider yourself “youth” (which, relative to La Cieca, takes in an awful lot of ground) please email La Cieca for details.

La Cieca

During his 20 year career as an opera critic he wrote for the New York Times, Opera, Gay City News, Opera Now, Musical America and the New York Post.
