La Cieca has removed the image of the Royal Opera’s Rigoletto production (you know, the one starring Juan Pablo di Pace and his amazing disappearing dick) from parterre.com in response to an email from the copyright owner of that photo, ArenaPAL.

La Cieca’s intention in using this photo was editorial comment on the controversy about this image, which she believes constitutes fair use. Don’t despair, though, cher public, because even though the photo hosted on parterre.com has been banished, the story still links to the embiggened version from the Daily Mail.
