UPDATE: According to an email from Mary Lou Falcone (RF’s publicist), it’s a different, non-operatic Renee Fleming the Post was talking about. Ah, well.

#56 jatm – well, whatever. I can’t get too excited about any of this, but if Falcone PR office “trolls” Parterre, they are wasting their time. I hardly think this is a high priority for them in view of all the other things that RF’s PR team needs to attend to, do you? :) I hope this subject is now becoming more ‘peaceful,’ because it really was a tempest in a teapot.
Now, when it comes to Marthe Moedl’s high notes, so-called, in the 1955 Bayreuth Gotterdammerung, that’s another matter! No wonder MM did not sing for long at the Met.

mrymyster: always remember, if you don’t know me well already from my many comments here, that I like to stir the pot, and was really only teasing you with my previous remark.

I am sure La Cieca can verify that overall I’m much nicer than I may seem.
