This year’s 150th anniversary offerings on the grünen Hügel include a performance of Beethoven No. 9, the first Bayreuth performances of Rienzi, and a new, AI-designed Ring.
The broadcast schedule is as follows:
- 25 July – Beethoven No. 9 (slightly delayed)
- 26 July – Rienzi (live)
- 27 July – Das Rheingold (slightly delayed)
- 28 July – Die Walküre (slightly delayed)
- 30 July – Siegfried (slightly delayed)
- 1 August – Götterdämmerung (slightly delayed)
This year’s revivals of Parsifal and Der fliegende Holländer will not be broadcast.
