Nothing makes me feel better than Anna Tomowa-Sintow in Capriccio

The color, power, and character are all there in this recording.

To restore calm and centeredness after a disruptive afternoon, I turn to the closing scene of Capriccio sung by my emotional favorite, Anna Tomowa-Sintow. I’ve always admired a sheen or lilt in her timbre that suggests well-being. The color, power, and character are all there in this recording. For those able to appreciate a moment that represents the whole, I direct you to the fleeting “ich” in “Bin ich nicht selbst in ihm schon verschlungen?”
