A favorite Wagner performance from Remko Jas

All of the Teatro Colón live opera recordings conducted by Fritz Busch are special, but his 1936 Parsifal is my favorite.

Sung in Italian (chorus) and German, it has the most feminine, most beautiful Kundry I know (Marjorie Lawrence). Fortunately, Ward Marston has restored the performance superbly and that is one of my most treasured CD sets.
