More people should listen to Pilar Lorengar

She demonstrated impressive artistry in repertoire that ranged from Spanish music to Mozart and Verdi. I only saw her twice at the Met in Mozart but they were both memorable performances.

In general, this question is hard because (as I hardly need tell you) almost every diva has her hard-core fans. Moreover, I find it increasingly difficult to see where any consensus exists. In this case, I was torn between Pilar Lorengar, Ileana Cotrubas, and Katia Ricciarelli. But I chose Pilar Lorengar simply because I think she is the least appreciated today.
