Per the Met’s Press Office:

Tenor Alex Boyer will make his Met debut singing the role of Captain Ahab in tonight’s performance of Jake Heggie’s Moby-Dick, replacing Brandon Jovanovich, who has withdrawn due to illness.

Boyer has previously performed the role with Chicago Opera Theater.
