Day one

I wasn’t going to say anything… until this just happened to me.

jarrett_500I’ve barely been able to move all morning. I wasn’t going to say anything… until this just happened to me.

I really really wish that I was making this up, friends.

I was crossing the street a couple of hours ago very close to my apartment in my beautiful city. A man in a U-haul van that was stopped at the light just screamed at me, “Hey homo, how do you feel now that Trump is your president?”

This is in thanks to the bigot who was just voted to run our country. I want to scream and lash out against all those who voted for this monster—even though I understand that many of them never would want their vote would lead to violence against other people.

However, we have to love them back harder than ever. We have to stay strong. We must stick together, friends. We’ve come too far.
