The star-studded cast of what will surely turn out to be the year’s most sought-after pirate includes Christophe Dumaux, Philippe Jaroussky, Nathalie Stutzmann, Andreas Scholl… and the original “infinite variety” gal herself,  Cecilia Bartoli. Blogger The Opera Tattler reports a few mishaps in the Tuesday night performance of Les Arts Florissants under the baton of William Christie, including a broken E string on the concertmaster’s fiddle.
