My husband recently unearthed it in his library, read it, and in handing it to me gravely shook his head and said, “This is a book whose time has really come.” So, I’d like to read it *da capo* and perhaps introduce or interest some others who were not even around at that time. It centers on an opera singer who sings Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, amid much, much else.
