Prepare to swoon, cher public, as the Bayerische Staatsopera presents yet another of their hunk-o-rama webcasts, Eugene Onegin, starring Simon Keenlyside and Pavol Breslik.

The live performance of the controversial “Brokeback” production of Tchaikovsky’s opera directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski will be webcast on Saturday, March 24 at 19:00 Munich time (2:00 PM EDT.)

Russian soprano Ekaterina Scherbachenko sings Tatiana and the Bavarian State orchestra will be led by young Finish conductor Pietari Inkinen. The webcast will transmit directly from the Bayerische Staatsoper’s website.
