I believe it is Mathieu Crepel, who wore an ironic moustache whilst competing for France in snowboard in Vancouver last February. Sorry to disappoint you, but its a fake one.

Meanwhile, I have just discovered a disconcerting ability to recognise moustaches.

Pardon the typo, yes, Ms. Danrich was the exceptional singer of the first song, composed by Mr. Stanilard. There are actually no program notes, or program of any sort, for these events, so scribbling notes in the dim light after a drink or two can yield some typos.

I went to school with Indre Viskontas, or rather, she was in her last year when I was a freshman. Glad to hear she’s on the scene. Interestingly, given that Mark Adamo attended the evening, Indre sang Beth in his LITTLE WOMEN that year.

I think this may be the first mention of a singer I went to school with on Parterre. That makes me pretty happy.

Valmont, was the “The Bloody Chamber” an adaptation by Elizabeth Isadora Gold of the Angela Carter short story (which was inspired by the Bluebeard tale)? I didn’t realize anyone was working on this. Cool.

Shouldn’t this read, “Ms. Danrich’s huge, lush, dark voice….”, rather than “Ms. Stailard’s huge, lush, dark voice….”.

I mean, were you there, or just reading from the program notes when you wrote this at 1 am last night?

Who exactly sang the first song so well?
