La C: I feel bad that Parterre didn’t even rate a mention.

  • MontyNostry says:

But seriously, what do the media find to say about her anymore? And what does she find to say to them apart from same-old, same-old … Maybe that’s what it’s all about.

One pays BIG bucks to get that sort of coverage and quality work from PR people.

RF should be paying Parterre for all the publicity she gets here.

QPF: but only on the understanding that even negative attention is good publicity.

These are just some of the kids who are lapping up Dark Hope. They camped out all night waiting for iTunes to open so they could get their hands on Renée’s disc before anyone else.

After reading La Cieca’s laudatory post they got deliriously drunk, put on DH on their iPod-cum-Bose thingy and belted out track #3 (if you listen carefully you can hear Renée’s recording in the background).

Renée, these are your new fans.

  • Did anyone listen to the live podcast of the Flemming concert with the Berlin Phil at their outdoor concert this past Sunday? You can hear it at medici.com

The sound is very good, depending on your computer setup. The Korngold and Dvorak are splendid.

The orchestra is amazing to play with such perfection in an outdoor setting.
