Reinforcements?

attila_thumbLa Cieca has just heard from a generally reliable source that one of the principal artists has withdrawn from all performances of Attila at the Met.  We’ve emailed the company’s press office for confirmation of the rumor.

    oops —

meant to say whatever would we do without manou to remind us of our fallibility.

Cieca my dear, please please can we have a spell check?

    • manou says:

Spell check would not differentiate between principles and principals.

      No Manouverings intended…

It’s such a pity that Mr Capuccilli only sang once at the Met (I think “Germont”). A friend of mine studied with him in the early days and always spoke very highly of him- a thoroughly gracious artist and a gentleman on and off the stage.
