Olivero’s recording of Katiusha’s aria “Dio pietoso” is the thing to convert the infidels into believers! An old Cetra compilation — no clue where it is obtained these times.

Come on guys, Alfano wrote some good music, let’s not trash him. Resurrezione is really a fine opera. There is a live recording with Olivero. A major book about Alfano has just been released a few days ago “Franco Alfano: transcending Turandot” by Konrad Claude Dryden Scarecrow Press 2010. It’s on my Christmas wish list…

Wow. What a wasted DVD. I’d rather have a DVD of Domingo conducting Fleming (or even Radvanovsky!) in Lucrezia Borgia. They better release that!
