LOL! I don’t know whether to be insulted or so incredibly flattered I should jump.

OK, you just called me witty (which I don’t think I am), sophisticated (which my mother would love you for) and then the cherry on top is the fact that you mentioned Auntie Mame (which I would love to be for my niece), so I am going to go and giggle and clap like a teenager who has just been picked for the cheer leading squad.

On the other part, you are right, I am willing to pull someone’s wig to make a point, even if after the fact I am the one who hands them the wig back with a smile.

If you feel the room slowly tipping to the right, it’s because there’s a large gaggle of Countess de Laves on board who have taken the veil and married their muse… “L’amour, l’amour, toujour l’amour”. CruzSF would be Joan Fontaine as Peggy day, naive and sweet.. Our doyenne, with her protean range, on any given day can have the pefect manners and spurned nobility of Mary Haines, is of course THE Countess de Lave of Countess de Laves, and, like Sylvia, is always current with the latest “Jungle Red” gossip. I haven’t seen her for a while and I could be wrong, but I believe Paulette Goddard is Paddypig (or Cheryl Studer?) being banished from paradise. Squirrel (unseen) is somewhere on the ground gathering nuts and looking up skirts.
