The love child of Ursula the sea witch and Norma Desmond goes to the opera! I love, love, love her! And this is why I love opera. It inspires the greatest lunacy. It is hard to be this magnificently bad in pop music.
Oh, and when she hits that final low note, it is something out of “Mawrdew Czgowchwz” describing the diva singing “sempre Libera”: The earth opens.
That’s La Cieca herself!!!
Is it sad that I think her Ulrica is perhaps the most genuinely terrifying I have ever seen? I think any contralto singing the role for the first time should take a look at this…In all her obvious lunacy, she taps into something quite demonic, and I like it. And that last note is pretty damn impressive, actually. Of course, seeing as she used to be a man, I suppose it makes sense that the chest voice would still be the strongest part of her voice. I am going as her next Halloween! What fun
Sorry if repeated – but she is supposed to be a transexual woman. ??
I got it guys, it’s Angelyne and now she sings opera!

Wow. Angelyne takes me back ….
It’s all in the eyes, honey. The eye and the boobs. The support system, as it were. I shall call the fab lady The Scourge of All Bartoli.
I sent the Azucena clip to Zajick, wondering if she might want her to join her students……Poor Dolora..poor Bruna Rasa..poor Galvany..poor La Cieca….poor Wenarto(although his tits might qualify).Their chest just does not measure up.
Creo que esta mujer tiene tetas un poco falsas……when she enters a room, it becomes crowded.
I LUV IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carlitos
KOOREKSHUN..I mean I sent the ULRICA clip to Dolora..not that it matters…
Did I say “Azucena.”???I meant ULRICA!!!!!
LORDIE! Where do we get these people? Well, anyone who has seen with Sue Hassell(I sang with her) will know that La Delusione prevails.
(go to “Favorites” on my Videosite to see Sue sing….OH..I lioke that..S S S
Apparently Hustler and Opera News are planning to merge.
Okay, why hasn’t Almodovar starred her in a movie? She might be the bait to lure Almodovar into the opera house. How about the next Salome or Lulu at the Met directed by Almodovar and starring La Trasobares?
