Lodoletta was not possible because the shoes are not wooden. Besides that would have been too obvious. No staging would be THAT obvious these days. Thus it HAD to be Rheingold.

I like this ring very much. Very thought provoking and well thought out. The initial schok of the additional scenes pave the way to some very interesting viewing from Weimar.
