blog advertising is good for you

here’s to the lady who launched

cieca_launch

La Cieca is proud to relaunch a completely overhauled parterre.com, previously seen in fragments, dribs and drabs, but now here to stay. The new look features a return to the (now) retro punky aesthetic of the early ’90s zine, updated fonts and all sorts of other improvements intended to enhance your reading and commenting pleasure.

Designer of the new parterre look is that Cardin of the CSS Nicholas Scholl, formerly of Trrill and currently busily tweeting from (at?) twitter.com/trrill. He is also a member of the team at Patent Leather Daddy.

Your doyenne welcomes your reactions to the new look.

La C has a winner on her hands.

    It’s grand, dollink…love it.

    EXCELLENT!

Readable, upmarket, yet with the uniqueness that defines Parterre.

Never thought of the Sydney opera as a hat tho!

BTW…retreiving a new password from wordpress is annoying and not for the impatient and faint of heart.

    Brilliant! Perfect.

The Sydney Opera House as hat is truly inspired!

My fauxmance is back! Oh, my Ruxton, my own!!!!!!

It’s really to adjust the size of the font with Windows (hold down the ctrl key and use the scroll button on the mouse to adjust the size).

I lovelovelove the new site. And I especially appreciate the search engine, because now I can look up specific threads without have to go through page after page of older entries.

Ah, Dean Jones…. he could’ve held me too close, and sat in my chair and made me aware of being alive.

    Hi La Cieca!
Going from the boudoir stile to a BDSM pedantic style might reflect your present infatuation, but for me it is a chock. As a queen myself, I like it (trill)very much, but is it really you? I guess it is, I only know you from your absolute fab conducting of this free speach site (with far too many people repeating their war horses over and over again, but that is what free speach is about. I have learnt to dismiss some of those soprano followers ranting (idiom?) over top notes)
from an almost everyday follower from Sweden (eurocentric in likings, but still, NYC is my capital of the world)

    Brava! Best ever!

Thank you Sweet Sanford- my treasure, my pet- you have solved my problem (not Harry). Blessings be upon you!
