You know, if she really IS 39, tho she is lovely, KZJ actually looks older than 38 – I would have put her at mid forties easily!

And, in show business, it is NOT unusual to start lying about your age from the first debut!! The very early debut and open publication help support the case later on!

Unless C Z-J has been lying about her age for more than 20 years, she *is* 39. She made a big splash playing Peggy in 42nd Street (she was the cover and took over) in 1987, and not a newspaper in sight failed to mention that she was only 18.

It’s what I read on her website…she’s a “crossover classical” singer. She’s not my type, but she has the Brittany, Christina, Baby Spice look that the “young people” (I’m 22 by the way) are supposed to go for. I’d rather people listen to her than the singers I mentioned above. And once they realize that she’s a joke then they might graduate to real opera singers…like Renee Fleming. lol

Perhaps, rather like her compatriot Katherine Zeta Jones, who has been 39 for quite some time now, Ms Jenkins will remain stuck at 29 until she can’t get away with any longer.
