    If Sumac had formal training, she could have been the best coloratura ever,at all ranges- soprano, mezzo or contralto. It’ll be a long time-maybe generations- before a voice like her come along. YS’ voice was a freak of nature in the most positve way.

This supposed mysterious ‘jungle princess’ that could sing the stratosphere yet also appeared to be all knowing of all humans’ hidden desires…..which I wanted to find out about and explore too (naturally!)
