    Manou:

This Award is richly deserved. It shows that people believe in you and your talent and expresses the hope that you will go far in your field as long as you stick to your fach and follow the wise advice of your agent, your manager, and your colleagues. You are young yet, and the talent, while real, is as yet unformed and not settled. Stay away from bel canto and Greek puns; they’re killers.

    Oops, sorry. Wrong thread.

Without a doubt, the clear winner.Congratulations Manou!

While all have been commenting on the Chicago? bear, I just noticed the person in the gold muumuu. I assume it is a diva, but could this be a scene from some Louis 14th era opus set in an exotic land–such as Il Castrato di Smyrna–a really obscure old opera no one has ever seen performed?

#64: thank you for letting me know that this is Senor Candelabro; no puns about his name, or no puns about Liberace and George. I assumed the opera was Attila. And Parterre posted 200+comments about Mr. Costello with no one typing “Hey Abbott.”
