You are correct, Cassandra, and it was an oversight on my part. I should have specified that the tenor voice generally finishes maturation between 34 and 36. Certainly the lower the male voice, the longer the maturation period. My apologies.

Asides from the weird brindisi choregraphie, i still think this production (what i saw from it) was wonderful.
Will American audiences ever grow up and appreciate anything that is not pretty and sparkly?
Go and create something new – as long as it looks good….!!!
European-style opera can be demanding. But nothing is more infuriating than MET audiences applauding the set then falling asleep or talking.
