Fact is, Millo is a very gifted artist! She’s very, very special! Let’s hope she can overcome health and vocal problems! She needs support – not “loyalty” from “friends” and fans who tell her and themselves that all is well and add to her stress by expecting too much of her at this point!
IF you really, truly, love her, understand her situation and don’t project the feeling that if she doesn’t give us a brava-worthy complete Medea that she hasn’t lived up to our expectations!
The criticism here started out to be constructive and realistic. And one remark, early in this thread, was not, to my mind, negative at all. In fact, I think it pointed out Aprile’s uniqueness and her larger than life portrayals and artistry!
I think some of you just don’t get it!
This thread has deteriorated to cat fights and name calling. Focus all that energy on sending Aprile an e-mail of support and understanding – if you really love her as much as you claim you do!
