    No we did not but we are sure it was brilliant. What we all needed was another mediocre Requiem.

    Just based on the live-stream (and I know that isn’t a definitive take–but I didn’t win a ticket on the “requiem-lottery”) –it came across as a rather lack-luster reading—with the exception of Olga B.

    It was stunning. Especially, Levine, orchestra and chorus.

    All the soloists were good to excellent, with Borodina especially superb.
