It is your blog, no question about it. But how DARE you edit our critical, but polite comments about Josephine. It seems you have major “double standards” to all the others.
Even if “pen smart and witty”, you seem to be disrespectful to us now; we don’t have to read you at all. You think that except entertainment for gay people, your blog is taken serious in the real opera world, which you so desperately try to enter for decades, but became only the Elsa Maxwell of the NYC Opera scene, but without the La Divina on “your side”; or sorry, we forget those ridiculous drag pictures on “your site” ? My message in # 82 was not rude, not even impolite; just agreement with others that Josephine crossed the line on several occasions and you do not seem to edit “”" her”"” posts????
Verbotene: I think it is reasonable for you to be unhappy at seeing your comment redacted. In the interest of fairness, La Cieca decided to remove the most recent comments in the “Josephine” brouhaha — including comment #80, which was, as you see, by Josephine herself. So I hope you understand that I was at least trying not to show favoritism. It seemed pointless to redact comments older than #80 as they had already been pretty widely read.
La Cieca does not like to redact but she reserves the right to do so sparingly when it seems necessary to keep the conversation from degenerating into personal attacks. Please be assured that I am keeping a close eye on Josephine’s future contributions.

It is your right to do what ever you like to do, it is your blog. But you crossed the line and I just simply decided not to read you anymore, or to give you further secret inside tips. Those
“close eyes” seem to be more “closed eyes†to Josephine’s
never ending “bla-bla” than a impartial owner of this blog.
I love everyone and I agree. I agree with all of you.
I’m not sure we’ll all miss the “inside tips” but I’ll let you know as soon as I pick myself up from the floor where I’ve been laughing my ass off at that comment.
It’s La Cieca’s blog. She can do whatever the hell she wants with it.
