		<description>They did Il Tabarro last year in the same location.  It&#039;s about making opera happen in Brooklyn.  For a decade, they have operated out of a theater that seats 40, doing everything from Idemeneo to Jenufa to Darius Milhaud&#039;s Medee.  The change of venue from small black-box theater to Brooklyn waterfront is a huge leap.

They are hard to pin down conceptually.  They do somethings very traditionally (like their Cavalleria) and other things in a very avant garde way (like Hilhaud&#039;s Medee).  

But regardless of the production style, they use excellent singers.  Worth hearing.</description>
