Excellent! Thank you. I do need all the encouragement I can get to bid adieu to our Summer That Wasn’t – this is a good start. It’ll be great to compare the different singers in the same roles throughout the season. May there be a few strategically-scheduled Cieca chats now and then.
Anyone out there ever gander at the Finance page? Toll Bros, the folks that sponsor the broadcasts, had a 3Q loss this year. Hope that isn’t going to affect their sponsorship.
BTW, does it ever bite your butt that the Oil Companies can’t sponsor these broadcasts like they used do, espeically when the motherfuckers have more money than God now?
and I specifically bought tickets to hear Meier sing Santuzza and now I am stuck with Gruber? Another production which is ancient and no other reason to go to unless Meier is singing. Maybe they were hoping Meier would sing or used her name to sell tickets.
Yet the Domingo change (for the Malibran edition of Adriana Lecouvreur) is noted…and I thought Filanoti was doing the Rondines, but I see Alagna’s name is there.

Thank you for doing this. I’ve been studying the week-by-week calendar wondering which ones would be Sirius’ed. Thanks for letting us know.
Thanks La Cieca. You’re the best…!!

Goodness me, now I DO have to respond to those emails for free Viagra!
But why is my Dvorak so blue? And Mascagni, and the Clowns?
Gruber is back on the schedule for some Santuzzas in the spring?? Did Sirius base their casts on an old schedule?
